Hello! We’re Adam & Amanda, a traveling couple from the United States. After a few trips together, we decided we wanted to share some of our lessons learned and best practices with others and tell a few fun stories along the way.
We went on a 6-month trip around the world from Paris to Singapore with plenty of stops in between just before Covid-19 changed the world.
In September of 2018 we started the trip in London, before spending a month exploring Croatia, Budapest, Prague, Barcelona and more. When Amanda’s mother, who had been fighting cancer for over 6 years, had a significant setback, we chose to make a change of plans, cancel the rest of the journey and fly back to the States.
Tragically, Peggy Allen Khera passed away in February, 2019 after defying the odds of her prognosis and stunning doctors for years. After several more months with family and working odd-jobs, it was finally time for us to restart the trip in August 2019.
Our latest trip brought us to France, Portugal, Morocco, Israel, Jordan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore.
Previously, in other trips, we have have travelled to: Mexico, Canada, Honduras, Andorra, Monaco, Luxembourg, Germany, Romania, Kenya, Tanzania, and Russia. So we’ll be posting a few articles, video blogs on YouTube and tips about those places too.
We have some awesome trips planned in 2024, including trips to Germany and Italy!

And if you feel like most of the stories are about things going wrong, you’re right. Because those are usually the most entertaining and enduring memories that end up being the most rewarding.
